Summary: Florida and Charlotte County were voted Best Small Place for Business and Career by the Forbes/The Milken Institute. 2001,2002,2003. Again coming in at #22 among 179 Small Cities for 2005. In its September/October 2006 issue, Business Development Outlook Magazine ranked the top 50 cities in the US, and names Punta Gorda Charlotte County the 49th best overall city.
