1. don't know when we went 3months ago some causens of mine took us to dance and to the malls this was in houston. then my parents whent to see houses an bought one in katy. we move to texas in sep and stay there for a month an now we r back to our state or origin because we didn't like it to stay in texas, we drobe over there it took 32hrs on the rood and we wasted about 350.00 on gas on the way there and another 350.00 on our way back.
2. Depends on what you like to do on vacation. I enjoy visiting Austin. The cost depends on the type of hotel you like to use, and how much you plan to spend on food and drinks. I generally budget about $1200 for a long weekend for two (excluding airfare). If you don't care about the hotel, you can certainly spend a lot less.
