best places to stop on a trip from NY to Texas?

1. if its not outta the way i would recommend Tennessee wooooot :)
2. You should try a place called Splash lagoon. It's great and lots of fun for the family. It's an indoor water park. It's the most fun I've ever had at a water park. The hotel is attatched to the water park so you can have fun any hour of the day. They also have laser tag attatched. I had a lot of fun in that too. If you don't want to spend the night you can also buy day passes. It's one of the best places I've been.
3. Depends on which route you are planning on taking.
4. Gettysburg, PA(some say its haunted) Washington DC,MD(fun,fun,fun) Jamestown and Williamsburg,VA Cape Cod,NC Nashville,TN Atlanta,GA Shrevport,Louisana(stop at the James Avery store for great jewerly!!) Then depending where in Tx you are stopping Houston,,Dallas, austin, and San antonio are great cities to be!
