Any nice places in Texas to visit?

I'm looking for a nice place to visit in south Texas in Winter.

1. San antonio is a fun city! Good sights, good restaurants..I also recommend a "Haunted San Antonio" walking tour at night...LOTS of FUN!
2. I really liked San Antonio with the river walk. Nice walk with stores and restaraunts. Also, you could take a gondola boat ride along the river as well. Also, a great Mexican market to find a lot of interesting souveniors at very inexpensive prices.
3. San Antonio has a lot of places to visit. Six Flags of Texas is in Arlington just outside of Dallas. Austin is a nice college town and is also the capitol of Texas. My grandsons who live in Virginia love to go to San Antonio when they are visiting because there are so many places to see. Also, the Mesquite Rodeo is located in Mesquite and very entertaining. The State Fair of Texas just closed its annual fair; however, the fair grounds have a lot of interesting things to visit. It is hard to tell people what great things there are to do here because there are so many. Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!
