Are there any worst places to live than Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas?
I was just curious are there any worst or nastier places than Mississippi, Texas or Louisiana to live? besides being boring, and miserably hot and full of a**-backwards people, why would anybody want to live in these places, I took one look at Galveston Beach and I couldn't believe this is what people call a beach? full of mud and oil spills? Disgusting.

- Yes. Iran, Sudan, and North Korea.
- i think utah is worst there are too many mormons there
- My! Has somebody whizzed in your Wheaties this morning? There are worse places like North Korea, Iraq, and Sudan.
- Compton, CA
- I read that Michigan is worst state for crime. I would not want to live there ever.
- Idaho has Nuclear Waste buried underneath it.... for MILES But it is beautiful...lots of mountains and ski hills. And hardly ever has a natural disaster. Maybe 1 or 2 tornado's every 10 yrs
- Yes, anywhere by you would suck much worse.... The south has a lot of great cultures that you would be fortunate to expierence. The cooking, the music, the festivals.... it certainly does suck that some Hurricanes have washed away our beaches, but that was God's will.
- As a native Texan, Galveston beach is all we have. It was not always so icky but thanks to bad environment and the oil people it looks the way it does. People here can be kind. My husband is originally from Missisippi, although he has spent a lot of his adult life in New York and Detroit. If you don't like it, don't insult us, just don't live there okay?
- Yes, South Carolina. Talking about a**backwards. This state has terrible medical care, it's hot, boring and backwards. I'm stuck here for now because this is where my wife is from and we're here for her Mom. Hoping to get out of here in the next couple of years and head to Florida.
- Hey Buddy... I was born and raised in Texas..... What is up with Texas?
- hey, how about Iraq or Iran or some of the third world countries with sewage running through the streets....there are worse places.
- I agree. I unfortunately live in Dallas and it is whack. Yhea coming from LA, CA. Galveston beach has nothing on Venice Beach.
- I wouldn't want to live in Michigan!
- I live in MS. Recently moved back from NY and it is NOT a bad place to live. It depends on what you're here for. I'm here for the quiet, hometown feel I get from my town. Yes, there are a few 'a**-backwards people' as you put it, but those are everywhere, not just here. ..and yes, there are worse places to live. You could live under a dictatorship with no freedom to choose where you live and how you live, with no idea of whether you will have fresh clean food to eat. Before you call someplace nasty, try the other prospects.
- i think Harlem gets a medal for worst place ever!!!!
- Do you mean are there any WORSE places to live? don't know Never lived anywhere other than South carolina and I love it here.
- Have you ever been to Nebraska?????
- france
- I would assume that you're solely referring to the United States, am I right? Well buddy, I've only visited a few U.S. States (Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New York and Washington) and have only lived in a couple so far (Florida & Texas) so I can't really offer you an educated guess here but of all the States I have been to, I must admit that Texas was the worst one of all! Like you said yourself, Texas is nasty but also full of illegal Mexicans, let's not forget, who treat Houston TX, for example, exactly the same way the Cubans treat Miami FL: turning the city into a complete pigsty seems to be their main concern, I'm afraid. And they're spreading outside the perimeters of Miami too, like some goddamn disease similar to cancer! Sad but true... Why doesn't the U.S. Government send them all back to Mexico and Cuba once and for all?!?
- I sure hope you didn't swim in it, lol! I wouldn't want to live in either state you mentioned either buddy! As far as I'm concerned, it would have to be either the West or the East Coast, end of discussion. Preferably the East Coast as I am more familiar with that area having lived there before...
