Where are the best places to see the more popular bands in the western/mid North Carolina area?

1. If you're talking like major arenas then Verizon Amphitheater in Charlotte is your best bet. There's a few clubs in the Winston-Salem area that get what I would call "B-list" acts to play there from time to time. The Greensboro Coliseum gets some decent acts too. In S.C. the Bi-Lo center in Greenville is the only one in that area that I am aware of. Hope this helps somewhat.
