Anyone know any cheap places at the beach in north carolina to stay for about a week or so?

Me and my family are goin to the beach in north carolina and i was wondering if anyone knew of some cheap places to stay down there (Ocean front or ocean veiw preferbly) thanks

1. Well, which beaches in NC? I live about 45 minutes from the beach and during the summer most people stay at hotels here (Elizabeth City) then travel to the Outer Banks. Hotels and cottages are very expensive any time of the year except for about Jan, but the hotels here are about $60-$80 a night for a good room.
2. My sister lives in Wilmington and when we visited her we went to Carolina beach(town name)and there are all kinds of beach front places there...it is gorgeous and we were looking at places by the month but they were affordable and the beach is not as crowded..there were places that were 50 from the beach itself..Have Fun like I said it is gorgeous there
