Where are the best places to eat in Colorado Springs?

I am moving to Colorado Springs and I would like to know about some nice places to eat. Local places that aren't actually mainstream. :) Where do the "locals" like to eat/hangout/spend time ???

1. if you like chinese there is a little joint up in manatou springs, just up from pikes peak, i dont recall the name but when i lived out there i ate there alot, it is cheap and great, also you get a fair amount of food for 4$.
2. The mason jar is great its near garden of the gods campground. great home cooking and these great wild berry margs yum
3. If you like Mexican food, Amanda's Fonda is awesome! Great atmosphere and menu, good prices. Great location, especially when you sit out on their deck when it's nice out. My hubby and I always stop here when we are in the Manitou Springs area. We happened upon it taking a drive while down in CO Springs for our anniversary. Popular with the locals and they are constantly recognized by papers/magazines for top awards for their food! Address: 3625 W. 4. Glad you're coming out here! Here's a few ideas for places to go: Mexican- Amanda's Fonda and The Loop Italian- Paravicini's Italian Bistro (best in town!) Brewery- Phantom Canyon Irish Pub- The Golden Bee Southside Johnny's is awesome! They are a restaurant during the day and a great bar at night! Same with The Ritz. Ai Sushi Jun Sushi, and Kura Sushi are all amazing! Just so many...check out this website for more!
