Best places to hunt in Colorado..also what time of year is best in Colorado?

This question is for a friend (I don't hunt!)

1. i don't think you should hunt in colorado because that is a beautiful place... the best time to go is around thanksgiving, they have a lot of snow and it is beautiful
2. Colorado is a big state so you need to decide where you'd like to go. 3. I'm not a hunter, but I've heard that Gunnison is a great place to go elk hunting
4. depends on what you're hunting... you need to make sure its in season and that you're going to be able to get a license. If it's pheasant stick to places like philips and Yuma Counties. if you want to hunt deer good luck getting a license and you can be either in the mountains or the plains.
