What are the best places for skiing in Colorado?

1. If you're traveling into the state, Summit County is your best bet. Resorts there include Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin (advanced terrain), Copper Mountain, Vail and a couple others. This is where most out of staters go. There are other great places farther afield including Aspen, Crested Butte and Telluride.

4. Hi! Welcome to Colorado!! I have been to several of the resorts around here, and I think that Copper Mountain is one of the best ones, and it's also not too terribly far from the city. I also have enjoyed Loveland and Breckenridge in the past, but Copper is way more snowboard-friendly, if snowboarding is your thing. I went to Vail once, and it was very beautiful but really overpriced ($70 for a one-day lift ticket!!!!!). It's a cool place to go for a vacation, if you're just going to chill in a lodge and maybe go shopping or ice skating, but if you really want to ski, Copper or Loveland is your best bet. At least, I think so.
5. I like Vail and Beaver Creek, but they are expensive. Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Winter Park are all good too.
6. Every morning at 7:00AM the ski train will take you to Winter Park. I am envious.
7. My favorite is Breckenridge. There are tons of lifts and runs. Pleanty of options for all ability levels and decent prices. If I were you id buy the colorado pass so that you can go to breckenridge, keystone, arapahoe basin, vail, and bevercreek. I think that Loveland is WAY too cold to have a good time. Winter Park and Copper Mountain are great if you are a collge student. If you have lots of money you can head to Aspen. a lot of the others are too far away from denver to even mention and the rest are tiny.
8. Crested Butte because it is a great ski area, but pretty remote. Loveland--good prices and close to Denver.

10. Steam boat springs, Or Winter park ( silver Creek) Takwe my advice. When going skiing, Go deep in the mountians, otherwise you will hit slush and ice, not fun to ski on. The deeper into the mountians you go, the more powder you get.
