  1. Pikes Peak since it is more dangerous in the winters Have fun !!!!!!!!!!! !
  2. Colorado is absolutely beautiful! I was there two summers past, and personally, I though it was the best time to be there. The weather is SO crazy! It can be gorgeous in the morning, then thunder storming in the afternoon, and then clear up in a matter of minutes! I stayed at the Broodmore in Colorado Springs (I think it was there) Colorado Springs was a beautiful little town with many shops and res truants. PIKE'S PEAK!!! Research it-- it is a train ride up a mountain that is 14-thousand-something feet up! I was there in August and there was some patches of snow on the ground! Enjoy it! Colorado is a wonderful place, you'll have a great time!
  3. Its hot and dry right now. Places to see. That all depends on what you want to see. Estes Park is fun, mountains, shopping and its not that far up there (visit the Big Red of the Rockies) Fort Collins is a fun place to visit, downtown is charming. If you want to visit a country inside a state go to the Republic of Boulder and walk up and down Peral Street, you will feel so much better about yourself after that. 16th Street Mall in Denver, and Coors Field. Casa Boneta, Denver Mint, East Colfax around 10pm. Hmm I hear Steamboat Springs is nice too. Stay away from Vail and Aspen, not worth the trip and overpriced.
  4. Go to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison just outside of Montrose. You'll never regret it. Also, the Great Desert Sand Dunes National Park is worth the trip as well. The trip from Crested Butte to Aspen is worth it as well.
  5. Aspen is very expensive as one person said but if you want to see beautiful scenery while you're in Colorado, you should go see the Maroon Bells which is near Aspen. You could stay in Glenwood Springs which is about an hour away from Aspen and much cheaper. Also, in Glenwood Springs you could go see Hanging Lake which is a beautiful turquoise colored lake that has a small falls that tumbles into it. And if you like hot springs, there is a large hot springs pool in Glenwood Springs that you can swim in. As far as weather in July and August, it depends where you are. In the Denver area, the weather has been hot and dry, with daytime temperatures in the 80s-90s. The mountains are cooler with daytime temperatures generally in the 70s-80s.
