best places to live

Colorado??

I'm looking to relocate there. What's it like? I'm married with kids and am looking for a pretty family friendly place (more zoos, less bars and clubs). We're Republicans and evangelicals so also need a pretty conservative place. I'm told Colorado generally and suburban Denver especially would be good fits. I know the state is pretty conservative as a whole so I'm pretty excited. What do you think?

  1. Expensive and cold.
  2. Oh ya its a nice place. I wasn't too sure about it when i first moved from the east coast, but now I'm really used to it. Denver is busy. but its a good place to find a job and meet nice people. Its pretty easy to find a nice to place to live, and denver would be great for you if you were looking for a place with a zoo. i dont know about brs and clubs, becuase anywhere you go there is a fair share of that. But for the most part its easy to avoid, and there is alot of good shopping. The restaurants are really nice and you can find either a busy place to live, or a more remote place. either one would be a good choice :)
  3. "...Republicans and evangelicals so also need a pretty conservative place."? Then stay out of Colorado because we have enough of you Ted Haggard hypocrites out here already!
  4. Colorado is beautiful. The Denver area is very nice, and my husband and I considered moving there (we ended up in Salt Lake City. Utah might be a better fit for you considering you're conservatives). Suggestions for places in Colorado though would be the Fort Collins / Boulder area, or Colorado Springs.
