Best northwest Connecticut wedding location without breaking the bank for a service and reception?

We're looking for a wedding location in northwest Connecticut. We found the most beautiful place ever (Troutbeck Inn) in Amenia, NY (just over the CT border) but I think it's just too expensive. We want to spend under $10,000 on the location/food/etc. and be able to invite around 80 guests or more. Suggestions?

  1. Your back yard would work fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk to your local volunteer fire company,,,They will loan you tables and chairs for a donation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But an arch way. Add some flowers around it!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop by a road side pit beef place,,, Explain to them your getting married and would love to have them supply the sandwiches and the fixings for them(they will be honored you asked, because that's their way of making a living)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell them you will pay them extra if they will keep an eye on the rest of your food making sure the bowls don't run out... Then purchase plates, cup, napkins, chip, pretzels, pickles, nuts, mints, (make sure you order ahead) potato salad, macaroni salad and cold slaw. OR Your church,,,,,,It should have a reception hall & Church women that will serve you!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
