I am going to Connecticut soon - where are some recommended places to go? things to do? good seafood places?

We're going to NY for my first trip as well - a quick 3 day trip. On the list - ground Zero, Yankee Stadium, Central Park, the Today Show, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building. Too much in three days, or do you have more recommendations?
