  1. Trench Foot . . . The best AND most inexpensive do not go together . . . ever. Why? Because you get what you pay for. The best is never going to be the most inexpensive because those producers who CARE to provide the BEST -- do not cut corners. Here is a real concern with most inexpensive perennials. ROOT BOUND. And with most inexpensive dealers -- buyer beware! So keep looking. They're out there. Mean while look in your yellow pages under plant nursery for the BEST. Pay for the BEST. And be happy about having a quality plant.
  2. Cheap = Wal*Mart or the Christmas Tree Shoppes or Ocean State Joblot Best = Hollandia Nursery in Bethel and other reputable nurseries. split the difference = Home Depot and Lowes Avoid = grocery store florists, Wal*Mart, Christmas Tree Shoppes, Ocean State JobLot
