what are some of the best places to visit in South Carolina?

1. Myrtle Beach for sure. Carowinds.
2. South Carolina is filled with historical sights. So if that is what you are into, the places are numerous. One of my favorite places is Charleston, SC in the lower part of the state. It has tons of "haunted" places and an old slave market that has been turned into a sort of flea market. Charleston also has Battery Park, a wonderful place to take in the scenery and the ocean. Charleston has a ton more to offer than just this, like Rainbow Row, the State Aquarium and an old time horse and carriage tour. Some other places to visit in SC, would be Myrtle Beach, and the Capital of any state is always interesting to visit. There are many historical house tours in our capital, Columbia. The state house and state museum are also interesting stops. Those are just a few of the stops you could make in South Carolina. I would most recommend Charleston, though, as it has many different options for entertainment and history.
