Places to visit in South Carolina and Florida?

Anyone know of some great places to visit in South Carolina and Florida?

SC Myrtle Beach- It is very busy and crowded in the summer so if that is not your speed go to Cherry Grove(north strand) or Pawley's Island (south strand) that way you are close to Myrtle Beach but without all the people. Charleston-very nice historic city. Go to the Market downtown, take a carriage ride and a guided tour of the city. (lots of history). There is also an aquairum, and fort sumter. There are also nice beaches nearby-Isle of Palms, Folly Beach and a few more. Hilton Head- unless you have a lot of money and like to golf I would stay away from here. It is all gated communities that you can not get in and golf courses. However, they do have a light house. I would opt to go to Beaufort SC instead. It is just north of Hilton Head and is made up of little Islands. It also has a lot of history and mossed draped trees. Take a ghost tour. SC has some of the best ghost stories in the world. (that is if you are in to that. FL I can only tell you about the places I have been St. Augustine- beautiful city. go drink from the fountain of youth. again lots of History (can you see a pattern here lol) They also have a nice outlet mall. Daytona Beach- I personally don't see what all the hype is about. The beaches are nice but there is not a lot of other acitivites to do there. Kennedy Space Center is near by. I have not been since I was a kid but I plan on going this summer. Orlando- you know home to the happiest place on earth. One of my favorite places to go! Sanibel Island- I have not been but my cousin raves about it. If you like just soaking the sun in on the beach and shelling this is the place to go!
