- Check out some web sites for Charleston. There are a bunch of great things to do there. Sea aquarium, 18th century homes, churches, and buildings, civil war forts, art galleries and art museum, old plantations, the beach. I would recommend a seafood place called Hyman's - though very busy.
- www.greatergreenville.com is a good site for upstate South Carolina. Other than that, the usual hot spots are Charleston, (many beaches, museums, attractions, etc.), Columbia, Clemson, Myrtle Beach and many many more! I love SC! ;) Also, www.discoversouthcarolina.com is a good parks/recreation site. Many many MANY good restaurants in good ole SC. Let me mention a few of mine here in the Upstate....want coffee? Go to Liquid Highway. Those guys ROCK! Food? I like to support the local mom and pops around town. Palmetto Fine Foods is great for lunch/dinner! Quaint little restaurant. Downtown Greenville? Eat at Soby's. Nice. In Columbia? The possibilites are endless. I like a lot of the food places around USC and also 5 points. Head down to Folley Beach or Hilton Head Island for some sunny fun! I am not so much a tourist-y type person but if I were....Myrtle Beach/Surfside would be my first spring break/summer vacation stop! Stop over in Clemson to watch a Tigers football game....WOW...they sure love their Tigers in Clemson!!! Wonderful experience! Sure hope this helps!! Have a specific? Just ask and I'll be more than happy to help out! ;)

- Rafferty's in Greenville, best service, best food, nothing frozen all fresh made that day..as far as entertainment, The Peace Center in Greenville, right up there with Broadway in New York
