  1. if you have kids i recommend anthem. It is 45 minutes north of Scottsdale on 17 north.
  2. Well, Scottsdale is known as the "Beverly Hills" of AZ. Snobby people, but money is really good at bars and clubs. Tempe is the college-y town, good money to be made on Mill Ave where people congregate on the weekends but it's so collegey so it gets kinda ghetto. Anthem has NO bars, it's really family oriented and totally out of the way of everything. I would recommend living in Scottsdale or nearby Scottsdale, like Paradise Valley.
  3. SCOTTSDALE!! Either way up north (north of shea) or south scottsdale (south of Camelback).... either places have amazing bars and aren't THAT expensive
  4. Chandler. It's not too ghetto, but close enough to Tempe so you could bartend on Mill.
  5. If you want to work in a bar and make some dough, you should probably work at one of the Scottsdale bars. I would research the top 10 bars in Scottsdale. But, you don't have to live in Scottsdale...you could live in Central Phoenix, where there is a lot going on as well...condos/townhomes/apartments near the Biltmore area are pretty nice, and the communities, for the most part, are friendly.
  6. NOrthern Peoria is a great area lots of shopping, restaurants & mall. Not to expensive but great place to raise a family. Very safe & newly developed area.
