- I really recommend Sedona, if you like to shop, eat, and have a great time. Sedona is the best place to go in AZ besides the Grand Canyon (going there Spring Break ;) ).
- yellowstone national park I think is in arizona also..
- I'm from AZ and there are many places to visit, depending on what interests you. Arizona is rich in Indian cultures of the Hopi and Navajo tribes. There are many reservations you can visit, or go to Indian ruins located throughout the state. Many places such as Sedona, (Red rocks), Oak Creek Canyon, (next to Sedona), are beautiful and there are tour guides to take you around either by jeep or helicopter. There is the Grand Canyon way up North. That is at least a two day visit, because of the North and South rims. In winter, I believe the North rim is closed due to snow. Flagstaff, which is up North and near Sedona, is also a beautiful place with enormously clean air and the San Francisco peaks, which are absolutely beautiful. Phoenix holds much of the sports-related activities as well as theatre. Scottsdale is around Phoenix, and offers expensive shopping and lifestyles, but great little cafes to eat in. Lots of golfing. If you go near Tucson, there are old tourist places, such as Tombstone, and the San Xavier Del Bac chapel from the 1700's, which is rich in history. There are many other beautiful places to visit, it offers just about anything you would want, it just depends on what area you go geographically.
- Grand Canyon, golf in Scottsdale, spas in Scottsdale
- uh there's this big hole in the ground...oh its the GRAND CANYON!!! Really...it is one of the most spectacular things i have ever experienced....pictures of any type do it no justice. I went all alone...had to pick up my stolen car an hour away from it in Winslow AZ so passing by I just HAD to check it out. It was a stressful thing chasing that car all the way from San Francisco, and the Winslow Police Dept gave me only a day to get there in order not to be charged for its storage by the day...I was a wreck when i got it, my stereo was ripped out and sold and I found out i knew who took it....needless to say this place restored my soul. There is a lot to do there...also i have friends in the Phoenix area and they love camping and hiking, and especially dirt bike riding. Lots of Native American places...if you like photography, this is a great place to explore...Canyon de Chelly is a wonderful place on Navajo land...horseback riding was so much fun!!!
