Where is the best place to live in Arizona for construction workers? (besides Pheonix)?

- We used to live in the Mariner Apts. on Baseline Rd. where there are alot of complexes. These are in Tempe, and are or were an upscale place with alot of space. They included the stackable washer and driers and big kitchen and dining room and living room combinations. And patios and balconies. And a hot tub and swimming pool as well. I highly recommend it. Mesa was beginning to expand a bit, when we moved north, and by now south Phoenix has probably no end in sight, but perhaps more affordable as it used to be. The west side was poorly developed back when we were there in the 90's, but I hear it's come a long way since then. Check your main library, for the copies of the top cities in the US and check out the ads for housing and rentals. They will give you alot of places to check out. Especially the Sunday editions. Oh I forgot to mention there is a man made lake in Tempe that winds around through housing developments. And people take paddle boats out on it. And there are lots of ducks to feed also at the waters edge. Hope something has helped you.
- There is a lot of construction going on in Tucson. Considering construction is mostly an outdoor occupation the weather is a bit cooler here during the summer in comparison to Phoenix. Triple digit temps. arrived in Phoenix 4 weeks earlier than in Tucson this year. When the monsoon season arrived the temps dropped below triple digits also, while they continued in Phoenix for the most part.
