- A best place to live is all relative to ones needs. Each city or town has it's good points and bad points.Casa Grande is located about half-way between Phoenix or Tucson along interstate 10. Depending on your employment needs living closer to Phoenix or Tucson might be better. Casa Grande gets dust storms because the surrounding area is very dry. Not much rainfall either and as hot as Phoenix. On the upside it is much much smaller maybe only 25,000 people live there. It is a growing area along with Arizona City next to it. I've read articles where they mention that Phoenix and Tucson will eventually merge since they are only 2 hours apart. This will put Casa Grande in the middle of the so called future "golden corridor" which in turn will bring more job opportunities. How long will this take? Who knows, maybe 20 years, I'm guessing. I did an extensive research on AZ while looking to buy a home. You have to come up with a list of what is important to you and then match the place to your needs. If you could elaborate more on what you are looking for I might be able to suggest places of interest to you. Attached is a link with information about Casa Grande.
- No, not at all. Casa Grande sits in the middle of the desert between Phoenix & Tucson and has little to offer in the way of transportation, entertainment and services compared to either Tucson or Phoenix. As for my best pick for a place to live in Arizona; Flagstaff in the north! The city is just big enough to have all of the services you would want or need while having a much better 4 season climate and lower cost of living. Best of luck.
