2. The Lower East side has great, hole-in-the-wall designers who are just getting started. Canal St. for Chinese knockoffs at low prices, Madison between 58th & 80th for top designers. Bergdorf's & Bendel for the same expensive designers. H&M store has up to the minute fashions at great prices. BTW there are no malls in NYC!!
3. SOHO ( take any train to Canal st) and walk up on broadway all the way until union sq or do same thing backwards. also 5th AVE
