I want to buy some nice name brand clothes like sean john, phat farm, lrg, etc.....and I dont know what are the best and cheapest places to but them.

Try Tokio 7 at 64 East 7th Street at First Avenue - it's a designer consignment shop. It can get very crowded, but you can find things here you won't see anywhere else. If you like Denim, look at Famous Friends at 616 East 9th Street (between Avenues B and C)

You will always find brand name clothing at a reasonable price at the locations I've listed below: Marshalls, T.J.Maxx, Century 21, Fulton Street Mall in Brooklyn, 125 Street in Harlem, Graham Avenue in Brooklyn, Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn, Fordham Road in the Bronx, Jamaica Avenue in Queens.
6. You will see people wearing those brands. Stop and ask them where the stores are located.
