4. The Lincoln Center on the West Side, there's usually something great going on there, and so many different people converge there for different reasons. To me the West Side of Manhattan is the best place in the city, it's still busy and slightly prim and very much New York but it has a chill vibe at the same time. It's not very touristy at all
5. Lots to see at Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall is there. Across from Rockefeller is St Patricks Cathedral, a huge gothic cathedral. Central Park is wonderful..lots to see so get a map.
6. Once again, I can give you a good amount of skyscraper related sights that you can see. Most obvious is the Empire State Building; well known as the 102 story bohemoth that was World's Tallest for forty years. Then, there are other buildings such as Chrysler, 40 Wall Street, Woolworth, and the Metlife Tower that each were the "world's tallest" when they were built. The GE Building, or Rockefeller Center, is the setting of many a television news show and morning talk show. Catch a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, and perhaps visit the hallowed grounds of the World Trade Center towards the lower end of Manhattan right behind the World Financial Center.
