- Jerome is not to far from Sedona. It is an old mining town on the side of a mountain. Now kind of touristy but fun.
- Drive up Oak Creek Canyon, Go on a jeep tour of the red rocks throughout Sedona. Outside of Sedona is Slide Rock State Park, you can drive down to Montezuma's Castle/Well, Prescott is fun with Whiskey Row, Take the Grand Canyon Railroad up to the Grand Canyon, you can hike down, there are lots of different lookouts up there. It depends a lot of what you are looking for.
- Take the Verde Train ride in Clarkdale. Way better then the Grand Canyon in my book. Then see if the BlazingM Ranch is open in Cottonwood. That is a western dinner show place. Both place maybe 15 min out of Sedona. My Back Yard
- Lots to do in of itself in those towns Sedona: hike the red rocks, swim in the river at Slide Rock. Grand Canyon: take the bus tour along the south or north rim
