best places to live

Does anyone have information on what the best, cheapest and safest place in world to live is? We want to move

We live in Toronto, Canada right now, and we want to find a safe place to raise our future child. We are thinking of moving in 2 years or so. I would like free or near free post secondary education and free health care. We don't care how high taxes are, as that is how you pay for a better place to live. My husband is in the hospitality industry so we need a place with good either tourism industry or caterering industry. Thanks so much.

  1. Although you are welcome here in the US, it is definitely not cheap. There are some places that are considered low cost, but good luck with a job. There is no free health care here either (unless you are dirt poor) It is soooo expensive and people are dying because of it. RIght now I have to come up with $125 for medication for my 2yr old after paying $109 for some medication last week. I have no health care insurance because I have one more month before I qualify for coverage at work. Though there are many beautiful safe places here in the US, like New Jersey or Florida, but I would say to stay in Canada or research Europe, which some countries cover health care and education.
  2. Norway would be a good choice if you can get a Visa.
  3. I would have to say Singapore. I moved to Singapore from Philadelphia. Singapore is the safest and cleanest city in the world. The education here is always ranked at the top in the world and they speak English. singapore is booming right now in Population and Tourism. I really couldn't think of a better city for saftey, cleanliness, education and tourism. Healthcare is very cheap (not free) and very reliable. Also the taxes are extremely low (less than 10%). At the very least you may want to check it out.
