What are Some good cities in southern california with an Excellent Police department??

O.K I know Most of california has a Extremely shlity police force. And Right now I am VERY angry with the police department in my city . Without getting personal I have went to them telling them I was in danger and Not only did they not listen , but they made rude and obnoxious remarks and I caught some of them taking bribes from the criminals. They have not only not protected me but they have laughed at me. I have NEVER been treated like this by my local police! This is leading me to decide to move to a better town Where the police are strict with bad guys and have a good reputation. MY Question is : What Towns/Cities in southern california [ if thats possible] Have Good Police who are pretty much "white flaggers" and are strict with the bad guys?? -- Know of Any?

  1. Maybe we just hang around different cops, but I've found most police officers that I've encountered to be straight-up folks. They take their job very seriously, and don't like it when bad cops give them a bad reputation by association. Here are a few places to check out: South Pasadena, parts of Pasadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, San Dimas, Laverne, Azusa, Rancho Cucamonga. Along the beach: Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rancho PV. In Orange County aka "The OC": Seal Beach , Huntington Beach , Newport Beach , Corona Del Mar , Laguna Beach , Dana Point , Capistrano Beach , San Clemente , Brea, Yorba Linda, Orange, Tustin, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Rancho Santa Margarita, Lake Forest To the west: Agoura, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Simi Valley, Moorpark.
  2. Beverly Hills is known to have the best police department though in my experience they can be a little lazy and don't want to put themselves in any dangerous situations. When my friend was held at gunpoint she approached a police officer on the street shortly afterwards and was telling him the guy was right around the corner, but he was 100% not interested in chasing him or calling backup to catch him and instead took a report. In the Pico/Robertson area they come out right away and call a lot of back up, respond very quickly and professionally. Same in Westwood where I used to live so it's very safe there. In Orange County where I'm from (Laguna to be exact) they are top notch, they don't put up with ANY bad behavior or crime, which is why the crime rate is so much lower in OC than in LA. But even in Santa Ana where I think has the strictest police in all of california, the crime rate is still high due to the make-up of the population so you have to take into consideration not only the police but also the population of a given city to determine how safe it is. Maybe it's due to the overall low crime rate in Bev. Hills that results in the indifferent attitude of the police, whereas in a crime infested area the police can be overly tough yet the crime still high.
  3. Wherever there's money, there's better protection. However, I've lived in So Cal all of my life and I've never had any problems with law enforcement. They are always there and helpful when I've needed them.
  4. I give you one. Alhambra PD. They don't take crap from anyone. If they see something bad or someone breaking the law, (either on foot or in a car) they will bust a U-turn and go after them. I don't like them because they keep hassling the good people too But if you want a very strict PD force Alhambra is the way to go. Close to LA but not close enough.
  5. That's sounds like my city in the 1990s. The police was the gangsters and when you called them for help they came 2 hours late and if you told them that the emergency was over and if we was there all late, they used to get mad and try to make you feel like you had was the problem. What city is this? LASD is good however, I have seen then in there cell phone or playing the music all loud in there cruiser yes in the police car (Nice example). LoL I have seen that Beverly Hills Police Department or Pasadena Police Department and Mahantan Beach Police Department are one of the best agencys in LA.
