best places to live

Any other best places to live besides the United States?

I won't elaborate too much on this one. Just assume that I am sick & tired of the kind of living that is in the United States.

  1. I understand completely! For me, the US wouldn't even make the top 10! Canada (particularly French Canada), Netherlands, Czech Republic, Iceland (incredible!), Italy, Spain...I could go on, but you get the idea. At my advanced age relocating would be a perilous hassel, but I do have places to stay when I visit Montreal and Amsterdam.
  2. spaiiin. barcelona specifically. great food. great culture. wake up at 10 am. siesta at 2. dinner at 10. go out at 2-3 am. beautiful beaches and women. its great
  3. how about scotland. i've never been there, but it sounds alot better than the U.S. well actually, anything would be better than the U.S.
  4. I would say Canada, Australia, Switzerland, or some of the islands off Central America. Canadians are nice and understand English, Australia is very different from the US put mildly, Switzerland is peaceful and pacifistic, and the islands are nice (besides Cuba)
  5. Buenos Aires is great. Currency is currenly 3:1, so the cost of living is very reasonable. The city has a European feel, yet keeps its South American charm. It is a wonderful place with lots to do and see. The people are very friendly, worldly and open minded.
  6. Yes of course there are! Check out a few lists online...saw one just recently, USA didn't make the top 10. Australia was no 3. (A combination of climate, lifestyle, etc)
  7. Ireland.Great craic, great people, great country. That's why we fought so hard to get it back.
