What are the best cities in the US for an interracial family?
Hello all, I will be graduating in May and am looking for the best city to move to for me (african american), my wife (caucasian), and my biracial daughter. I'm planning to work in insurance claims. Any suggestions?

- i heard atlanta is great, philly......
- Seattle...is a good place...rains a lot though. You could try Spokane....it is a pretty good place. Portland, Oregon is a nice place to live..and it is really nice. Good luck! Enjoy the Northwest!
- Surprise, Az (suburb of Phoenix) We have great weather, and there are a lot of young, interracial families here. I can't say for sure how many insurance jobs there are, but there are plenty of job oppurtunities, here. And you can't beat the cost of living. That's the best part, IMO. (lol) Especially if you're coming from a big city. I love it here, but I've been to other places, as well. I've been all over California, and it's great there, but I wasn't too fond of the public school system out there. Anyway, I don't know what part of the U.S. you live in, and maybe I'm a little bias, but you move almost anywhere on the West Coast, and you'll have a winner. Good luck!
- Canada
- Minnesota, Twin Cities of MPLS/St Paul. It is very common here - all types of mixed race couples. And, it is consistently ranked as one of the best Metro Areas to live in for all factors - jobs, schools, parks, health, family life, affordable housing.
- New York I guess
