Are there any Lesbian friendly cities in South California?

I really want to move to another state and I think that California would be a nice move. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any cities that would are gay friendly, I dont wanna move to a retirement town.

California in general is very gay friendly. i live in Sacramento but often visit, old Sacramento, San Francisco, LA, Santa Monica, San Diego. lol i am every where and everyone of those places has alot of openly gay people. its the best place in the world. edit, oh yeah it is really expensive here even more so now with the real estate market gone down
3. Well, I live in San Diego and discrimination in general is relatively mild, and the majority of that is usually directed twords the illegal immagrants! Of course kids still make gay jokes and stuff at school and stuff like that, but i've never really heard anything that bad, the main downside is here is the real estate cost!
