I have to do this project about a BIG city in the world. When I'm saying that I refer to the population & the area.

1. Well, Jacksonville is the largest city in the continental US in terms of square miles. New York has a huge population. Los Angeles is also big. Around the world, you might consider Baghdad, Tokyo, Mexico City, or Rio de Janerio.

4. I don't know what your project is, but Singapore is not only a big city, it is an entire country. Sitting at the Southern end of the Malaysian peninsula, it has a fascinating history...becoming an independent country and city in 1968 (?). It is one of the most modern, most diverse, and safest cities in the world. It has its own airlines, and own army. It may not be the biggest in the world, but Singapore certainly is one of the most unique.

7. Tokyo is the world's largest city by population at about 35 million people. It's also huge in land area-56 miles wide. Mexico City is the second largest city in the world pop. wise with about 20 million people. It is also sprawled out far. Other huge cities are London, Rio De Janeiro, SAo Paulo,Cairo, ,Los Angeles, and New York City.
