Can you name best top five sports cities in America?

My opinion about the top ten sports cities in America now since the NFL season was over. Rank up the best sports cities in America and tell me the explains of why. Some top sports cities don't have any NFL team or the college football isn't include best sports cities. My opinion of best sports cities in America. 1. Boston- (Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins) 2. New York (Yankees, Mets, Devils, Islanders, Rangers, Giants, Jets, Knicks, and Nets) 3. Chicago (Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, White Sox, and Bears) 4. San Fransisco (49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks, A's, and Giants) 5. Dallas (Stars, Mavericks, Cowboys, and Rangers) tie 5. Detroit (Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings, and Lions) I don't think that Los Angeles is in top five sports cities because they don't have the NFL team current as they had two teams as can't survived one. 1954, what about the NBA or NHL teams in Los Angeles? And you might forget about Ducks from Anaheim. Or Los Angeles Lakers too. Without have the NFL team in Los Angeles, it has second most professional teams in America behind New York City it has nine teams. Los Angeles have around six teams. Sparks might include the list of LA's teams. But Sparks are WNBA team. And have two MLS teams in Southern California.

  1. u got it those are the top 5
  2. Detroit Tigers is the best.
  3. i think that st.louis has to be one of the best sports cities. granted they dont have the best professional teams, but they are one of the top baseball cities in the country with the best fans. also look at all the support that they get for little league. one of the best pee wee hockey cities, one of the top aau bball cities and one of the top little league baseball cities in the country
  4. new york, boston, chicago, philadelphia, detroit
  5. Just because a city doesn't have an NFL team, doesn't mean they can't place in one of the top spots. Los Angeles in definintely in the Top Five. Here are a few reasons: 1. Dodgers (six World Series titles, dozens of pennants and more sellouts than any other team in history) 2. Los Angeles Lakers (14 NBA titles, second only to the Celtics) 3. USC Trojans (dozens of national titles in all sports and perennially ranked in most) 4. Los Angeles Galaxy (4 MLS Cups, 4 US Open Cups and David Bekham) 5. Los Angeles Kings (no championships, but plenty of competitive hockey) 6. Los Angeles Clippers (uh, yeah) See? L.A. deserves just as much attention, if not more than some of your Top Five choices.
  6. I agree with all of that except 1. Boston 2. New York 3. Chicago 4. Minnesota(Twins, Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves 5. Dallas
  7. 1) Boston - Every sport is life or death. With the exception of hockey. Obsessed with sports. 2) New York - Very Strong headed, widely spread fan base. Have had many great teams. 3) Chicago - Many true fans that love their team even if they are struggling. 4) Detroit - Some of the loudest fans Ive ever heard. 5) Philadelphia - Angriest fans, show no mercy, and no love for any team except theirs. Others would be Dallas, Green Bay.
  8. To add to 1954's list... Dodgers Lakers USC UCLA Kings Sparks Clippers Angels Ducks Avengers Galaxy Club Deportivo Chivas USA LA support, all of their teams. But like any other city the most support goes to the teams that have the most history
  9. I agree except I would put 1. Boston 2. Chicago 3. New York 4. Detroit 5. Dallas then 6. San Fran
  10. New York La Boston Dallas Chicago
  11. All I'm going to say is that I'm offended St. Louis didn't even get an honorable mention. We may not have an NBA team, but we have everything else and we support it all.
  12. gotta take new york off, half of those teams are in New Jersey(Nets, Giants, Jets)
  13. i think the top 5 sports towns are 1. New York 2. Boston 3. Dallas 4. Chicago 5. Los Angeles
