What are the best cities outside the US for watching professional baseball?
I'm curious about non-MLB teams that would be fun to build into a trip.

- japanese cities.
- somewhere in japan... 2008 olympics are in china, that could make a nice trip this summer.
- the dominican republic is the best to watch the fans are really crazy over there
- Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto... Australia: Melbourne, Sydney Cuba / Dominican Republic / Venezuela: Anywhere you go
- Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico Good base ball, Nice bars, Exellent girls! more info check their website www.sultanes.com.mx (Monterrey baseball team)
- Tokyo
- As much as they hate the sports, Brits love to watch baseball and NFL. they love soccer but they can't make a lot of bets on it. with the hundreds of possible things to bet on in these 2 sports, they watch em like crazy. I lived in Prague for a year and watched NFL every sunday night (sunday morning in USA). Lots of americans were there but LOTS of drunk british and irish folks. can have a pretty great time
- Japan and the Domincian Republic
- the Dominican far and away-I know guys that worked Winter Ball there and said they are RABID about the game...betting on each pitch {ball/strike}...but it's the army with the M-16's that make for an interesting "ambience" at the ol' ball yard
