best places to live

What are the best cities outside the US for watching professional baseball?

I'm curious about non-MLB teams that would be fun to build into a trip.

  1. japanese cities.
  2. somewhere in japan... 2008 olympics are in china, that could make a nice trip this summer.
  3. the dominican republic is the best to watch the fans are really crazy over there
  4. Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto... Australia: Melbourne, Sydney Cuba / Dominican Republic / Venezuela: Anywhere you go
  5. Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico Good base ball, Nice bars, Exellent girls! more info check their website www.sultanes.com.mx (Monterrey baseball team)
  6. Tokyo
  7. As much as they hate the sports, Brits love to watch baseball and NFL. they love soccer but they can't make a lot of bets on it. with the hundreds of possible things to bet on in these 2 sports, they watch em like crazy. I lived in Prague for a year and watched NFL every sunday night (sunday morning in USA). Lots of americans were there but LOTS of drunk british and irish folks. can have a pretty great time
  8. Japan and the Domincian Republic
  9. the Dominican far and away-I know guys that worked Winter Ball there and said they are RABID about the game...betting on each pitch {ball/strike}...but it's the army with the M-16's that make for an interesting "ambience" at the ol' ball yard
