Why are the top rated restaurants always in big cities?

Isn't it possible and more likely that there are restaurants out there that have better pizza, sandwiches, steaks, etc that aren't in larger cities? It seems like these placese are just chosen because of their big location, or they only look at big cities when considering best places.

2. Sure it's possible. Some of the best restaurants i have been too i have found while traveling back roads. If you want good local cuisine...get off the national highways and try some of the back roads! Some of the big name chefs will occasionally tours small towns looking for great places...I've seen some tours/books reviewed on Good Morning America. The best publicity though goes to the places where there are the most people...the big cities.
