best places to live

Best Place to Stay in SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA?

I am thinking about a few places like 3 Palms or Hotel Scottsdale. Don't want to pay a lot of money, most of the time won't be at the hotel...any suggestions please...also consider Chandler or Tempe area.

  1. Best Western off of the 202.

  3. I live in south Scottsdale and am close to the 202 freeway and the 101 freeway. The 202 gets you to Phoenix and beyond and the 101 is to Tempe, Mesa and Gilbert and going north gets you to north Scottsdale (the fancy area). South scottsdale is the way to go, especially if you want to find somewhere cheap. The Hampton Inn is pretty cheap and nice (1429 N. Scottsdale Road: www.hamptoninn.com and also the Best Western Papago Inn on McDowell (7017 E. McDowell): book.bestwestern.com If you stick to this area you will be close to EVERYTHING, bars and shops in Old Town Scottsdale and on Mill Avenue in Tempe. And, if you want to get anywhere else across town, the freeways are so close. Hope this helps!
  4. for cheap prices there are a lot of cheap hotels...Best Weatern, Hampton Inn, Motel 6, Fairfield Inn.....the list goes on and on!! Have fun!!! I love the Scottsdale Hilton and the Princess Hotel myself!!
