What are some affordable cities in california where you can live peacefully in private?

right now i have these cities in mind, 1. Montecito 2. Del Mar 3. La Jolla my income is around $100G+ these are the places that i can afford to live in that i believe has more of a private residence as opposed to city like san francisco where you have to look at your neighbors or whoever as soon as you step out of the house, as i don't like being disturbed and controlled. so a so-called gated community is out of the question since you have to follow all the rules and stuff. what are some other cities in CA that would satisfy me?

2. You should check out the Sacramento Suburbs, especially east of sac on 50 or 80.
