- You would do just like you do for other doctor's appointments. You call the clinic and ASK them if they accept Aetna (she should check her plan; not all plans cover abortion even within the same company).
- Most insurance companies will not pay for voluntary abortions. They will usually only pay for D & Cs where the pregnancy has already failed or the child is a threat to the mother's health. I had Aetna before my current insurance and they are very picky about what they'll pay for. More than likely, if your friend wants an abortion she will have to pay out-of-pocket.
- Insurance companies Will Not pay for an Abortion.
- Wow you sound so immature, grow up.
- um pretty sure health insurance is not going to cover an abortion .. its not medically necessary.....not to mention your friend obviously doesnt know what they do in abortions.. or seh wouldnt even be comtemplating having one..
- Instead of abortion why not ask her to consider giving any baby up for adoption? AETNA is the one who can provide the information you seek btw. Not Yahoo Answers :) And im not gay. Though i did like the movie Titanic lol.
- Save the baby's life and find some information on adoption. She can have her medical bills associated with the pregnancy paid for by the adoptive couple, and she will be able to pick the adoptive parents. There are A LOT of parents out there wanting to adopt so badly. Help your friend to save that poor innocent life.
- AETNA should be able to give you a list of places, but if you go to carenet.org, you will find some wonderful options for your unborn child. Best wishes.
- Go ask aetna if they can abort adults and put yourself and your loser friend on the list to go first. Stop fucking with people on here in the pregnancy section asshole!
- Are you sure that you are being the best friend possible here- have you made sure that she really needs to have this abortion- her baby is already 6 weeks along. The baby's heart has been beating since 3 weeks and everything that is there, is there, now except smaller. Do you know the risk that your friend is taking in having an abortion?- it is not as safe as those abortion clinics want you to think- You are worrying about "the clock stopping ticking"- you should be more worried about the baby's heart that will stop ticking if she has an abortion. If she finds a clinic that accepts AETNA she may pay little, but it will cost her far more than money. I know because for over 10 years I counseled women in the same shoes she is in.
