Where is the best place to live in 2012?
Searching for the best location to live before and after 2012. Looking for good geographic location with good farmland, good tacticle defensive and offensive location, high enough to avoid the rising waters and offer protection against other major whether conditions. Also seeking advice on skills that would be valuable to trade above all others in the absence of value placed on money. Jesse O ... hard to respond when you do not allow im's or emails. 2012 is not necessarily a thing trying to wipe out humanity but a scientific prophasy predicted by multiple ancient cultures who study the stars and the cycles of earth. A cycle is ending and a new cycle is beginning. Water will rise ... storms will surge ... and a new age of sprititual existence is coming. "this is all according to other sources beyond me. The great civilizations of the past were dead on in a lot of areas."

- You don't serious believe somethings going to attempt to wipe humans out in 2012, do you? Please respond---
- norway, it has universal health care also!
- america=best army if you think theres gonna be like an invasion or some shit
- Just because a single ancient calendar (the civilization of which is long gone) ends in 2012, you get all nervous... Okay, you should probably avoid NW europe... it's all nice and temperate now, but if the 'conveyor belt' of the Atlantic is really beginning to shut down, it won't stay that way. Have you considered Missouri? Or NW Arkansas? Interesting topography- probably OK for defense, flooding. You could move to NZ. Plenty of farmland there. They speak english to boot. Skills... learn how to make distilled water. Also, how to make acorns taste less worse. Good luck.
- i see that my past question bothered u immensely. im so sorry for that. in 2012 the mid-west will become a marshy type from what i understand, pennyslvania may have some flooding as will some other eastern states but only close the shores. canada and pa are pretty safe. that is not to say they will not be effected in anyway but, from the looks of things anywhere surrounded by mountains would be ok. get an army survival manual they sell em at barnes and nobles. i have owned copies of them for years without a thought of 2012 so ..but if that is ur reasoning for buying them then good luck to you.
- as far as north America is concerned i would predict the best places to live would be Colorado north to Alberta in that area. Going east to Kentucky, Ohio and north into Western Ontario i am only guessing to be the safest areas. Do your research on this issue. I live over Lake Ontario and we are noticing we are getting many effects from the gulf of Mexico which to me means that areas like Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Western NY will get side tracks of storms from there. They can still be survivable in this area and it will be difficult.
