Good Places to Live in Cincinnati?

I will be moving to Cincinnati with my husband sometime this summer. I would like to do some research before the move, so I would like some opinions on good, affordable neighborhoods for young families. He will be working either at UC or at the Children's Hospital so neighborhoods near these facilities would be best (although if you want to recommend good places to live in Northern KY that aren't too far that is also great). Thank you!

  1. Move more north.. Columbus or Cleveland.
  2. Look into Hyde Park or Mt. Lookout. It's only about 10-15 minutes (depending on traffic) from UC. It is not cheap but it is a great area. Tons of people out and about walking and a couple of great parks for the kids. I'm in the Anderson Township area, which is very family oriented, but a little further east of downtown. NKY- Taylor Mill is a decent area, but I don't know a lot about it. Florence is the suburbs of Northern KY and very congested.
