4. I would say somewhere in Europe where there is a lot of culture and art. maybe Italy.

6. I would say any place that inspires you. Art comes from all over the world and palces, some artists are inspired by the grime and dirt of nyc streets others are inspired by a villiage some where in italy. There is no real answer for this question. Just like art its personal opinion ther is no right or wrong.
7. A great place for creative people to live in order to nurtured is in a good home! The outside world does not make much difference when a person has a good home!

11. I personally think California. The problem with Europe is that they have a history of art and culture that may not appreciate individual expression. They are judgemental and status of the artist often determines whose work gets shown I think. Californians will go for anything they like regardless of whether it's brand new or has some history. They are more innovative and less caught up in established culture.

14. Creativity springs from within, you can't go looking for it. Having lived in London all my life, I wouldn't choose anywhere else for creative inspiration. Some artists prefer the Continent like France and Italy. Being a designer, I've always liked the idea of living and working in sunny, coastal, Mediterranean countries. I have found that sometimes fantasies should remain in your dreams. Reality can often be disappointing.
15. London....there is always something going on there...people are always making things happen as a group.
16. San Francisco. If you've ever been there you ll know why. It's the second hest city behind NY when it comes to art and culture. You'll have plenty of breathtaking landscapes along the Half Moon Bay and Marin ooasts. The people in SF, while maybe "alternative", among the friendliest and artistic in the world.

18. I think it depends quite a bit on the individual. If you feel at home and alive in your city of choice then you're bound to feel inspired. Generally speaking though? I would say that areas with a lot of diversity, as well as a society that favors creativity and culture, are more artist-friendly than others. There are more opportunities and it's easier to find peers to identify with just to name a couple of reasons. Someone mentioned San Francisco. I've lived near there and can definitely agree with it as a specific example if that's what you're looking for.
19. It depends what inspires you. Personally, I'm most inspired when I'm in a naturally beautiful setting; forests, lakes, mountains, beautiful coastlines... I'd like to live in a tipi in a meadow overlooking a beautiful valley. But then other people are inspired by high-rise flats and office blocks. Of course, it's important to see new places too, and meet new people; seeing stuff you've never seen before is sometimes the most inspiring thing of all! What inspires you?
