Europes 5 Best Cities?

Thinking of going to visit a few Euopean Cities in the summer, please could you recommend the 5 best in terms of sight seeing and nightlife? Non uk cities or Barca as i have been. Thanks

3. Moscow, Kiev, Rome, Madrid, Venice. London and Paris much too overrated, Paris is literally dirty and smells bad.
4. Do Paris and Rome for sure, maybe Amsterdam for the partying (and Paris has a good nightlife), Prague, and thats all I got. There are too many to pick only 5. I live in Germany and am doing a lot of traveling. I've been to all of the above and they're all amazing.

I have been to all but Rome (my mum's been there loads and really rates it) Prague and Luxembourg were my personal faves in terms of sight seeing and night life. Prague has alot of great bars and really social. For a bit of fun i can recommend The Ghost tour. very tongue in cheek. I'm not sure if they still do this but the guide used to give everyone on the tour a token to claim a free beer at the end of the tour which used to end up at a cosy but dark pub. Great atmosphere and would definitely go again. Happy hunting. :)

My favourites: - Berlin (I grew up there and it is affordable, there's lots to do, it's vibrant and it never sleeps!) - Amsterdam (if alone for the coffee shops and the fun nightlife) - Stockholm (expensive but stylish and quirky) - Prague (affordable, cheap beer, beautiful city, great nightlife, cheap shopping....) - Dublin (I lived there for a while): beautiful, not as big and dirty as London, friendly people, yummy Guinness beer:-), fun nightlife, a bit more affordable than London EDIT: Am I being bashed by Londoners here or what?!? Just for the record: I LOVE London, I've even lived there. But the person asking the question clearly stated: no UK cities! And everyone has to admit: London is quite dirty, eh!?! But no offense....Just wondering where all those thumbs down are coming from.....Relax, people!

My favourites are: Madrid Prague Berlin Athens Helsinki Have visited them all and there are a lot to see in every city, the night life in the cities is great, although different in every city, which I found refreshing and very interesting! I really hope you have a chance to visit Europe and see all the great cities of our continent. I´m quite sure you will enjoy yourself. A warm welcome to Europe!

19. i have to say Sarajevo, Bosnia the mix of old and new, the clash between modernistic approaches along with the somewhat war-torn remains of the city...absolutely gorgeous! nightlife is great! very affordable and quite a site to see!

Berlin Prague Rome Zurich Tallinn (capital of Estonia for those of you who said what?, Estonia is across the baltic sea from Finland and bordered in the east by Russia for those of you who said what? again) Most of those are for sightseeing though as I don't really know much about the nightlife part.
