best places to live

Best places to live in Washington DC for people in their early 20s?

I lived around 18th and L when I was interning in DC last year. Now that I'm graduating, I plan on moving back in early fall of 08. I want to live somewhere with a lot of young people outside of the city. I'm looking for a nice little area that's safe and has a bit of entertainment for the weekends. Any suggestions? Does a place like this exist?

  1. The most popular place to live for recent college grads is Arlington, VA along the Orange and Blue Metrorail Lines--particularly the areas of Ballston, Virginia Square, Court House, Clarendon, and Rosslyn. Also Pentagon City and Crystal City along the Yellow and Blue Metro Lines is popular. In both places there's plenty of restaurants and night life and stores within walking distance. Hope the Above Info Helps!
