Where is the best place to live well on little money?

1. i think u should try to live in indonesia, you can live in bali island thats very nice island... with 10000 $ US... you can live for 1 year

4. If there was one "best place to live well on little money" don't you suppose everyone would have heard of it.by now? I like Latin America for budget travel and living ($15-$35 a day) mainly because of its proxcimity to the US.There are also hundreds of other places throughout the world to live inexpensively.

6. Im 41 and retired in Mexico. Could not retire and live in the US so I did it in Mexico - TAX FREE. I survive rather well on $1000 usd. My house is paid for and Im a beach bum and usally check out a new town and beach once a month . I drink alot of beer on the beach, hang out , eat some incredible food at the many mom and pop resturants and LOVE life. Dosent get any better than being comfortably retired with a wife and new baby at 41 !
