Where is the best place to live in the US?
I am in high school, thinking about where i want to live when i am a little older. i LOVE the hot whether, beach type place, and fun in the sun type. i want somewhere that i will be able to afford a house and make a sufficent amount of money. good quality life, decent neighborhood, good economy, and fairly close to a city. i live in seattle now, hate the rain, and love the southern states. any ideas? ps... also little crime... i have heard that CA has a lot of crime ?

- the only state that i can tell you, is california. its all of what you want
- San Diego is the best with your list.
- Ok the best place for a teen like you to live is probally a relaxing place but not to busy and a hge city like NY try moving to California
- Come move to California! I've lived here 18 years!
- where the suns shinning, floridaaa!!! affordable or california but homes now about a million dollars and those are kinda small for what you would get in floirda like 6000 sq - florida or 1000 sq - california
- ORLANDO! Theres great nightlife hundreds of things to do! Cocoa Beach is just 45 minutes away. Orlando is BOOMING. There are lots of homes being built and ones that are affordable.
- cali babyyyy
- Southern Cali! me and my wife are marines in Japan but before that we lived in Sandeigo, and man we kick our @ss everyday for leaving. you got San Deigo, LA Hollywood, Mexico BEACHES!! oh god everywhere, and it's like an awsome cool atmosphere. ps if your going to school after HS then you got alot of kids that room mate and part time job at local stroes ..
- ok i am young but i think i can help if u want u can move to fresno, california but it might be a little to expensive to buy a house....but if u look and find a house in ur price range good luck!!or just move to miami
- Maybe the Houston Area
- Dry California!☺ It's (yuck) humid in Florida.
- Forget California. Too much crime, too many people, too many cars and too many perverts. It sounds like you need a taste of the South. Anything along the Gulf Coast.
- CA does NOT have high crime compared to many other state like Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Florida, ect.. Crime is only a problem in poorer communities, which is the case anywhere in the US. San Diego and San Jose are two of the safest big cities in the US. It all depends on where you live obviously. If you live in Compton there is a lot of crime, but if you live 5 miles away in Beverly Hills there is no crime. If you hate the rain come to San Diego, the weather is near perfect all of the time and it rarely rains. CA has everything you are looking for except cheap homes.
