What are some of the best cities to pursue a career in Graphic Design and Advertising?

I have my A.A. in Graphic Design and will have my B.A. in Advertising from the Art Institute in about a year. I am from St. Louis, but currently live in Atlanta to go to school. I am looking to relocate closer to home, but I am also willing to go to whatever city may benefit my career. I have a desire to use my degrees in the Entertainment and Music Industry. What cities would be a good career move for me besides Atlanta?

4. Well my job is looking for a graphic designer right now, but we are in North Carolina real close to the VA state line. Try Los Angeles, New York, Houston, or ATL. Good Luck, you should come work for my company!
5. New York and Los Angeles are by far the leading cities for entertainment, music, media of all kinds, and advertising. No other cities even come close. San Francisco (and much of the Bay Area) is a hotbed for graphic design, though much of the clientele is in Los Angeles and New York. While there are of course jobs in such fields in many cities (including Atlanta), no other cities have anywhere near the job opportunities and activity in the fields you're interested in. If you want to be where the action is, it's New York or Los Angeles. Good luck in your career.
