What is the best time of year to go to these cities?

London, England; Paris France; Barcelona, Spain; and Rome, Italy. How much money should I need. I will shop a lot while i'm in these cities. What should I do in these cities. I want to go to museums and galleries. I also would like advise on how i should pack when i go.

1. go to new york city is better then those city's except Paris
2. For most part Sept/Oct because the rates are lower and it's still nice weather. London--couldn't tell ya. It's been cold and wet every-time I go. You will get the best rate if you shop with your credit card. i would bring traveler's checks for the small spending. New weight rates 50pds per bag now. You can always find clothes in these cities--and they do speak English.
3. I don't agree with you. It's better to visit European cities than the new york city. May or June is the best time to visit these cities.
4. It would depend on what you're planning on doing there.... I've been in the spring/early summer and in late Fall. Enjoyed myself every time, regardless of the season. If you're only going to museums and galleries, I'd suggest going in October. Much cheaper to travel then.
