  1. San Xavier is a big time historical Spanish city. It is in southern Arizona.
  2. Actually San Xavier is a Spanish mission built under the guidance of Padre Kino. There is another mission built by Padre Kino at Tumcacori about 40 miles south of Tucson. There is the fort at Tubac which housed a Spanish garrison around 1775, maybe earlier. You should Google the Spanish Grants in Arizona. These were immense portions of land given to favored Spaniards by the King. Some have been broken up into smaller portions. However, I believe that the one north of Prescott is still complete. Its named the Green Cattle company after William Greene who at one time in the 1890"s was a very wealthy mine owner in Cananea, Mexico.
  3. Oh, definately San Xavier del Bac. It's a beautiful old Spanish mission in the south of Arizona. That's probably the most famous Spanish place in Arizona.
