what are some places to bass fish in arizona?

I live by the cardinals stadium (i can see it frm my bedroom window) and i was wondering if there are any places to bass fish that are close? i dont have a boat so i cant go to the lake but are there any other spots?

1. Texas is about the closest place with water
2. There are some stocked ponds right in Phoenix Metropolitan area. They are like city parks and are stocked with bass,catfish and sunfish. I checked into it before vacationing there last year.

Arizona is loaded with good Bass fishing for the boat less angler, Teddy Roosevelt lake outside of Phoenix is probably the biggest reservoir, but there a lot of smaller lakes around and you just have to scout around a bit.
