Interesting places to see in either Utah or Arizona?
I'm from Los Angeles and we were planning to drive up to San Francisco but we visited San Francisco a gazillion times already. Las Vegas is like a second home too so we're thinking of either going to Utah or Arizona. Thanks in advance for the suggestions! Thanks all!

- 4 Corners
- Go visit the London Bridge, it has been moved to Lake Havasu (sorry if mispelled), AZ. There is also the painted desert, and the Grand Canyon up at Flagstaff.

- Grand Canyon, you should always visit it at least once in your life.
- I just visited Moab for the first time back in March and it is something to see. Not just the town, but what is around the town. There are a few National Parks near it (within) short driving range. Hope this helps.
- The Grand Canyon is really cool. Meteor Crater is kind of cool because it is so big. I don't really know many places in Utah because I live in Arizona so yea.
- Utah has five national parks, all within a six-hour drive of Las Vegas. The NP closest to Vegas is Zion (2 and a half hours away), which is actually Utah's best national park, I think. If you go do the Riverside Walk, Weeping Rock and Emerald Pools trails. We just took a friend from Michigan there for the first time last week and she was in complete awe. She loved it! For more info, visit www.nps.gov/zion. Utah's next-closest NP is Bryce Canyon (www.nps/gov/brca), which is a collection of red sandstone rocks called "hoodoos" that jut out of the ground. If you go, don't miss the view from Bryce Point and if you do any trail, do the Navajo Loop Trail. Utah's other three NPs are Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. Both Arches and Canyonlands are near Moab, as the previous gentleman explained. Capitol Reef (www.nps.gov/care) is really nice because it so uncrowded. It also contains a historic pioneer village right by the visitors center. Another good spot within a three hour drive of Vegas is Snow Canyon State Park, near Ivins, Utah. Hope this all helps!
